Busy Day

A quick one...

Today was quite a busy day, organising all my emails, planning and printing photos for project life, making banana & Nutella ice cream that I found on Pinterest, as well as shopping and the usual domestic chores.

I had planned on making some birthday cards and sharing them with you. I have a few birthdays coming up, and it's always a good idea to get some made in advance.

I'll make these tomorrow instead and post them for you see.

Just yesterday I treated myself with a face mask to strip away all that stress.

Love Me Some Holidays

Welcome to the first workday of the New Year.

If you are off work today, then I hope you have an enjoyable day whatever you choose to do.

If you are working, then I hope you have an easy day of it.

I am actually going away for a much needed holiday. We'll be spending some time on the coast in a caravan park. Thankfully we are staying in a cabinrather than a tent.

I have plenty of posts scheduled for while I'm away so I don't break my New Years promise so early in the year. :)

New Year Resolutions

One of the advantages of starting a new blog is that no one will notice if you haven't posted anything in a while. This will be changing from TODAY. This is my promise to myself and to you.

Like most people I have made some New Year resolutions. I'm trying to keep them as simple and realistic as possible.

1. Move More, Eat Well. To do this I'm participating in Cathy Zielske's class over at Big Picture Classes. It's not a diet and exercise plan. It's a community of people finding ways to move more and eat well, and scrapbook/document our progress along the way. It's probably best for you to check out the link for a full explanation by Cathy
2. Home. I'm also participating in Ali Edwards' class called One Little Word at Big Picture Classes. I did OLW in 2011 and loved it so much. It made a huge impact on my life. My word for 2012 is HOME where I plan to spend more time concentrating on things around the house to make it more of a home.
3. Blog More. I have another blog which is more of a personal blog, and I want to keep this as my scrapbook/craft blog. I plan to post on here every day.... maybe twice on some days. Some of these posts will be short and sweet but I promise there will be something.

So they are my resolutions for this year. They should all be acheivable (I hope!)

It's been a while

Well it's actually been a LONG while. I've been tied up with work, my other personal blog and various projects I've been working on so I have neglected you dear blog. I have plans to start fresh in 2012. I'm already thinking about my New Year resolutions. So if you can bear with me, dear blog, I promise from January 1st you will have my full attention... every day.
